Knowledge belongs to EVERYONE
gogroupby is a passion project.
It is based on one main principle:
knowledge should be shared.
My goals are:
- To share what I know
- To learn more
- To have fun
- To help others
- To encourage others to do the same
Ethics STATEMENT
This Ethics Statement is in great measure inspired by Tom Buck's Ethics Statement.
gogroupby is a passion project. To be more specific, it is my passion project.
I care about having the freedom to explore ideas and create things I find meaningful. At the same time, publishing content—especially about data, technology, and real-world systems—comes with responsibility.
A sponsor should enable the work—not shape it.
Any collaboration must be a genuine alignment where:
- The viewer benefits from the content
- The brand is represented fairly
- I maintain full independence of judgment
If those conditions aren't met, I won't take the partnership. Any sponsored content will be clearly stated.
Most tools, datasets, and products featured are acquired independently. In some cases, I may:
- Borrow or rent tools
- Receive products or access at no cost
- Get early access to software, APIs, or datasets
When that happens, it will be clearly disclosed. Receiving access does not guarantee coverage, and never guarantees a positive evaluation.
My opinions are always my own.
All content is created based on what I find interesting, important, or worth understanding—not external pressure. I approach topics as a curious practitioner, not a neutral authority.
Brands may review sponsored segments for factual accuracy, but they do not control creative direction, approve full videos, or influence conclusions.
I retain full control over what gets published, when, and how it is framed.
Because this channel deals with data, models, and real-world systems, I will make a good-faith effort to ensure accuracy, cite sources when relevant, and simplify when necessary—but not in ways that distort meaning.
When uncertainty exists, I will make it visible—not hide it.
Data can be incomplete, biased, or misleading. Models can fail. Interpretations can be wrong. If I make a mistake, I will correct it transparently.

I am cautious of hype cycles—especially in areas like AI, startups, and emerging tech. I do not promote tools or ideas I don't understand, present speculation as certainty, or amplify trends purely because they are popular.
The goal is not to be first, but to be useful and honest over time.
I do not rely on generative AI to produce core content, analysis, or opinions. If AI tools are used in any part of the workflow, that use will be disclosed when relevant.
If I have any financial, professional, or personal relationship that could influence how a topic is presented, I will disclose it when relevant.
I will not shape content solely based on what performs well or is expected by the audience. While feedback is valuable, decisions about what to explore will ultimately be guided by curiosity and relevance—not optimization for views.
You are welcome to share my work for non-commercial purposes, as long as you include a clear link to the original source.
Content may not be re-edited, republished, or presented as original work without permission.
This statement won't cover every situation, but it reflects the principles I intend to follow. If those principles stop holding, the project stops being worth doing.
